Prof. Daniel Tsiddon
Prof. Daniel Tsiddon serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Leumi Group and is responsible for the Capital Markets Division, International Private Banking, Group Strategy and the International Headquarters of the Group. Prior to that, Prof. Tsiddon held a number of senior positions within the Leumi Group, including Executive Vice President and Head of the Capital Markets Division, Head of Group Strategy and International Business Development, and President of Bank Leumi Romania.
Before joining the Leumi Group, Prof. Tsiddon held the position of CEO and Chairman of ‘The Administration for the Kibbutz Debt Settlement’ and served as a member of the board and as Chairman of the investment committee of both ‘Psagot Mutual Funds’ and ‘Ofek Securities and Investments’, subsidiaries of Bank Leumi le-Israel B.M. at the time.
Prof. Tsiddon is a member of a number of public committees and is an Associate Professor at the Berglas School of Economics, Tel Aviv University, Israel. His areas of specialization include Macroeconomics, the banking sector, defense economics, income distribution and economic growth.
Prof. Tsiddon holds a B.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, and an M.A , M.Phil. and Ph.D from Columbia University, USA.
